Overcoming perfectionism<\/h2>\n

Last week, I rearranged my home studio for the 2nd time in one month.<\/span><\/p>\n

I turned everything around, tweaking and readjusting. <\/span><\/p>\n

“The light doesn’t look good from that angle” – my inner critic said. <\/span><\/p>\n

And so I changed the position of my rim light.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Those flowers aren’t visible in the shot” – <\/span><\/p>\n

I moved the vase until I could see the flowers on my screen. <\/span><\/p>\n

I went on and on until I finally gave up.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then I took a step back, brought out my phone, took a picture of my new set, and … Oh my! It really did look good.<\/span><\/p>\n

That was when I realized I had wasted the whole day tweaking and trying to have the best setup because somewhere in my head I kept thinking:<\/span><\/p>\n
