Why your Google Business Profile isn't verified.

There are several reasons why your Google Business Profile was not approved for verification. Kindly go through the list of GBP verification issues below to learn more.

#IS01: No Social media links provided

When filling out the verification form, you failed to include links to any of your social media profiles.

What to do?

Step 1: Fill out the GBP Verification form again and include links to your business profiles on social media.

#IS02: Insufficient proof of business ownership

When filling out the verification form, you didn't provide sufficient proof of business ownership or you uploaded a document that doesn't have any affiliations with your business.

What to do?

Step 1: Fill out the GBP verification form again. This time include a valid proof of business ownership and registration. Any of the following type of document can be provided;

Legal business registration document
Invoice showing business name. (In some cases we might request further proof of payment)
Any other valid document that shows business ownership

IS03: You are in the financial sector

You operate a business that is involved in financial services. For example banks, loan providers, bitcoin sellers, money transfer etc.

Unfortunately we do not verify businesses that fall within the financial sector. Please reach out to the Google team directly for help with this.

#IS04: You have the "Pending Verification" issue on your profile

If you have an already existing issue on your GBProfile, we will need to have that fixed before going on to verifying your profile..

What to do?

Step 1: Log into your GBP dashboard to confirm this yourself.

#IS05: You have the Reverification Issue on your profile

#IS07: Business name mismatch

The business name you have on your Google Business profile does not match the name you have on your business registration document.

What to do?

Option 1: Change the name on your GBProfile to match the name on your registration document.

Option 2: Fill out the verification form again and provide us with another document showing the name on your business profile.

#IS08: No access granted

When applying for GBP verification, you failed to grant us (Ztallion) access to your business profile for verification.

What to do?

#IS09: Business is outside Africa

Your primary business location is not in Africa.
