This article is to address the most common questions about the affiliate program.


But first, some rules.

The Do's & Don'ts of the GBP Verification Affiliate Program

  • You are not allowed to collect money from anyone to verify their business on Google because the Google Business Profile verification program is 100% FREE.
  • You are to invite the business owner to join the GBP support community for updates regarding the verification status of their profile and other support resources. 
  • You are not allowed to present any kind of bonus initiative, cashback scheme, coupon discount, or claim that customers can get any sort of discount by verifying through your affiliate code.
  • You are not to make any claims of being an authorised Google Verification Partner or that you or your agency is authorized to verify business profiles on Google. Always make reference to the fact that you are an affiliate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much can I expect to earn?

We offer ₦100 per claimed and verified GBProfile. What this means is that you get paid when the profile you submitted;

  • Is claimed by the owner, and
  • Has been approved and verified by our team

To ensure this happens, you will need to guide the business owner on how to set up their profile following the guide we have provided and also verify that they have provided the right type of document before submitting their documents.

When is payment made?

Payments are made at the end of every month for every 100 profiles provided to us.

What this means is that once you have provided us with at least 100 business profiles that have been verified, we will proceed to pay at the end of that current month.

So for example,  if you provide us with 100 profiles on the 5th of March, and these profiles have all been verified before the end of the month, we will pay you on the 31st of March.

If on the other hand you only provide us with 80 profiles in March (which have been verified), we will wait until the number is up to 100 before we can pay you at the end of the upcoming month.

How are payments made?

Depending on your country, payments can be arranged through bank transfers, PayPal, MTN Mobile Money, Ecobank Rapid Transfer, or Paystack.

Are we open to IG post collaborations, podcasts, webinars, and other live promotions?

We are happy to work with affiliates that have a certain degree of reach by running educational and promotional webinars and by joining you on your podcast.

Obviously, these promotions require a certain amount of time and resources to prepare and set up so we can only feasibly work with affiliates that have a certain degree of exposure in the marketplace.

Can I fill out the verification form on behalf of the business owner?

Yes you can, but you must include the business owner's details and not yours.

Also note that if the business owner will be filling out the form themselves, instruct them to use your Affiliate code while filling out the form so we can link the application back to you.

Failure to do this will lead to a no-count towards your numbers.

Where can I see my list of approved and verified GBProfiles?

We will share access to a Google sheet where you will be able to track your numbers.

While you will not be able to make changes to the data on the sheet, you will be able to track the number of profiles submitted that have been verified.

Will you provide support for Affiliates?

Yes, we will.

We have a support community set up for this. Once your onboarding is complete, we will share links for you to join the community.

Is this only for Businesses in Africa?

At the moment yes. We only verify for businesses in Africa.
